  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 cup chocolate ganache
  • 1 cup whipped cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs, one at a time, and mix until well combined.
  4. Mix in the milk and vanilla extract.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  7. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  8. Allow the cake to cool completely before assembling.
  9. Slice the cake in half and layer with whipped cream and chocolate ganache.
  10. Top with the other half of the cake and drizzle with additional ganache.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use a dark chocolate ganache.
  • Let the pie chill in the fridge for a couple of hours for better slicing.
