Crockpot Chicken Noodle Soup is the perfect easy comfort food for any occasion. Simply prepare the ingredients, throw them in your slow cooker, and let it do the work for you!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breasts
  • 8 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups carrots, sliced
  • 3 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups egg noodles

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  2. Add chicken broth, carrots, celery, onion, garlic, thyme, parsley, and black pepper.
  3. Cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 4 hours.
  4. Remove chicken, shred it, and return to the pot.
  5. Add egg noodles and cook on high for an additional 30 minutes.

  • For a thicker soup, reduce the amount of broth or add more noodles.
