Delight in these easy-to-make mini apple pies that blend the warm flavors of cinnamon and nutmeg with tender, flaky crusts.

Ingredients

  • 4 medium apples, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 package refrigerated pie crusts
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix diced apples, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice until well combined.
  3. Roll out the pie crusts and cut them into small circles to fit into a muffin tin.
  4. Place crusts into the muffin tin and fill each with the apple mixture.
  5. Top with another crust circle, sealing the edges with a fork.
  6. Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Let cool before serving.

Notes

  • These mini pies can be made ahead of time and frozen before baking.
