1 pound breakfast sausage
8 large eggs
2 cups milk
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup maple syrup
1 cup shredded cheese
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a skillet, cook the breakfast sausage over medium heat until browned.
In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, flour, baking powder, sugar, vanilla, and salt.
Layer half of the sausage in a greased baking dish.
Pour half of the batter over the sausage, then half of the maple syrup and half of the cheese.
Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
