  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugars until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the pumpkin.
  4. Combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder, spices, and salt; gradually mix into the pumpkin mixture.
  5. Stir in chocolate chips.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the cookies are set.
  8. Let cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
