1 cup pumpkin puree
2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
In a medium saucepan, combine pumpkin puree, sugar, butter, cream, vanilla extract, pumpkin pie spice, and salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture comes to a boil.
Continue to boil for 5 minutes, then remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips until melted and smooth.
Pour the fudge into a greased pan and spread evenly.
Let it cool at room temperature for at least 2 hours or until set.
Cut into squares and serve.
Notes
For a more intense flavor, add extra pumpkin pie spice.
Use high-quality chocolate chips for better taste.
