A delicious tart made with pumpkin, ricotta, caramelized onions, turkey bacon, and sage.

Ingredients

  • 1 pie crust
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 onion, caramelized
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh sage, chopped
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine pumpkin puree, ricotta cheese, caramelized onions, turkey bacon, sage, eggs, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the mixture into the pie crust and spread evenly.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until set.
  5. Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • For an extra flavor boost, add grated cheese on top before baking.
  • This tart can be served warm or at room temperature.
