  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 can (14 oz) tomato puree
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add onions and sauté until translucent.
  2. Stir in garlic and ginger, and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  3. Add chicken pieces to the skillet and cook until browned.
  4. Sprinkle in garam masala, turmeric, and chili powder, stir well.
  5. Pour in tomato puree and simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. Stir in heavy cream and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
