  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash and peel the carrots, then cut them into large chunks.
  3. Boil the carrot chunks in salted water for about 15 minutes, or until tender.
  4. Drain the carrots and return them to the pot.
  5. Smash the carrots gently with a fork or a potato masher.
